The Role:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Structural Engineer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team based in Exeter. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, analysing and delivering engineering solutions across a diverse range of projects. This role would suit someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a collaborative environment and is motivated by seeing their designs come to life.
Responsibilities of the Senior Structural Engineer:
- Design and develop structural engineering solutions, including calculations and structural analysis.
- Collaborate with architects, clients and internal teams to deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Produce and review technical drawings using CAD software.
- Manage project requirements, liaising with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements of the Senior Structural Engineer:
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis and engineering calculations.
- Proven experience in structural or civil engineering, ideally with complex structures.
- Proficiency in CAD software with excellent communication skills.
- Degree in a relevant field; chartered or working towards professional accreditation (IStructE or ICE) desirable.
