Up to £42,500 DOE | Office-Based | Exeter
Our client, a long-standing, well-established and growing IT company, based in Exeter, is seeking an experienced Senior IT Support Technician. The ideal candidate will resolve often complex support requests with hardware, software, and network systems, as well as deliver projects and meet customer satisfaction and continuous service delivery demands.
This role is office-based with occasional visits to client sites.
37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, with the following shifts being offered 08:00- 16:30 or 08:30-17:00
You must hold the ability to drive and possess a valid driving licence
Responsibilities of the Senior IT Support Technician include: -
- To respond analyse and diagnose and resolve issues via phone, email and helpdesk
- To acquire, set up and install hardware, software and network products
- To provide accurate and efficient IT advice as required
- Ensure high-class Customer Service at all times
Requirements for the Senior IT Support Technician include: -
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a previous IT support role
- Hold a Microsoft Certification would be desirable but not essential
- Proven Experience in Troubleshooting LAN, WLAN and WAN issues and familiarity with common components (including switches, access points, routers, firewalls etc.)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft directory, productivity and cloud services(including Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Office 365, Exchange Online, Azure etc.)
