Project Manager (3-Month Contract) – Finance System Upgrade
Location: Somerset (Hybrid options available)
Contract Length: 3 months
Rate: Competitive (Outside IR35 potential)
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the final stages of a critical finance and accountancy system upgrade for a large, complex organisation based in Taunton. This exciting contract role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact by ensuring the successful completion of the project and delivering key business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the final implementation phase of the finance system upgrade, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Build and manage interfaces to the internally developed CRM system, addressing technical and operational challenges.
- Stakeholder engagement and management, including liaising with internal teams and external third-party suppliers to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Identify risks, resolve issues, and drive project milestones to completion within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Provide clear reporting and updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in delivering finance or accountancy system upgrades, preferably in complex organisational environments.
- Strong understanding of CRM system integrations, particularly with in-house developed platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence across all levels.
- Experience working with third-party suppliers and ensuring contract deliverables are met.
- Highly organised, proactive, and capable of driving results under tight deadlines.
