A specialist e-commerce solutions company, based in Exeter, is seeking a Product Documentation Writer to help deliver clear and effective product documentation.
The role offers a hybrid working model; 3 days a week in the office, Monday – Friday 9-5:30.
Responsibilities of the Product Documentation Writer:
- Craft user stories and draft product requirement documents.
- Produce and maintain Knowledge Base articles, ensuring clarity, brevity, and utility.
- Compose Tender Responses with a compelling, sales-oriented strategy.
- Collaborate closely with the UX and development teams to ensure documentation aligns with product design and user experience.
- Facilitate the launch of new products by documenting them for internal teams and clients.
- Liaise with the training coordinator and marketing team to accurately describe products in the client-facing Knowledge Base, sales materials, and tender responses.
Requirements of the Product Documentation Writer:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in technical writing or product documentation.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into simple, user-friendly content.
- Experience in writing sales-oriented product descriptions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with documentation tools and software.
