The Role:
This newly created position offers the opportunity to take a lead role in shaping and driving quality strategy across multiple business units. The Quality Manager will be instrumental in ensuring best-in-class quality systems, leading operational excellence initiatives, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. This is a hands-on leadership role with strategic impact, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver exceptional quality standards.
Responsibilities of the Quality Manager:
- Lead and embed a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all functions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and audit programmes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Drive performance excellence through risk-based assurance, KPI development, and data-driven decision-making.
- Act as the primary quality representative for clients, regulatory bodies, and external audits, ensuring exceptional stakeholder engagement.
Requirements of the Quality Manager:
- Proven track record in Quality Management, ideally within aerospace, defence, or a similarly regulated sector.
- Strong knowledge of AS9100 and quality management systems, with lead or internal auditor qualifications.
- Demonstrable leadership and team development experience, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a passion for operational excellence.
