Our Client who provides IT Support Services is seeking a Business Analyst based in Exeter. As a Business Analyst, you will serve as the link between business stakeholders and technology teams, analysing business processes to identify areas for enhancement and translating business needs into technical requirements.
Business Analyst responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand, document, and translate business needs into actionable technical requirements
- Analyse data to identify trends, support decision-making, and design solutions that meet business requirements
- Create comprehensive documentation and facilitate communication between stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Support change management, process optimisation, and build strong relationships to ensure stakeholder needs are effectively addressed
Business Analyst requirements include:
- A good general school background is essential; a technical or business degree is desirable. Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP), Project Management (PMP), or other professional qualifications is a plus
- Strong understanding of system integration, project lifecycle management (Prince2), and business systems strategy. Experience with local government processes, financial management, and ITIL processes is advantageous
- Excellent planning, prioritisation, and communication skills. Ability to build collaborative relationships and analyse problems to develop effective solutions
- Proven experience in project management, specification development, and stakeholder relationship management
