Dynamic, market-leading, and rapidly growing eCommerce business based in Devon, recruiting an experienced BI Developer. As a BI Developer, you will be instrumental in delivering and supporting enterprise-level applications in the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics arena, ensuring ETL and data systems are performant and assisting in the maintenance of SQL Servers when required.
BI Developer responsibilities include:
- Participate in Business Analysis activities to gather reporting and dashboard requirements.
- Discuss business requirements with SLT/Business Leads to develop associated reporting and analysis requirements.
- You will be required to produce varied digital reporting solutions using the full Microsoft BI stack including but not exclusive i.e. .NET Applications, Mobile, Excel, SSRS
- Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, potentially from multiple data sources.
- Design and build analytical reports and dashboards using the full Microsoft BI stack.
- Determine the appropriate solution, whether it’s a .NET application, Power BI, SSRS report, Excel extract or other.
BI Developer Requirements include:
- Microsoft BI stack ( SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, and SSAS Tabular, Power BI, Excel).
- Report writing in a SQL-driven environment.
- T-SQL procedural writing.
- SQL Server Performance monitoring and Query and Index Tuning.
- SQL Server specialist, T-SQL performance, SQL Server architecture.
- Well-versed in SQL Server principles, frameworks, and technologies.
- Proven track record in BI Development and TSQL programming.
- Experience in Azure.
- Understanding of data integration issues.
